Wook Choinew phenomena in Aging Land

Wook Choi received his BA degree in Architecture from the Hong Ik University in Korea in 1985 and a Doctorate in Architecture from the School of Architecture in Venice University, Venice, Italy in 2000. He was awarded a Macdowell Colony Fellowship in the USA in 1998 and Vaparaiso Foundation in Spain in 2004. He established K&C Associates in 1992 and one o one architects in 2000. He has also been an instructor at the Korea National University of Arts, Department of Architecture School of Visual Arts since 1999.

Chanjoong KimLast house in Metropolitan

Chanjoong Kim was born in 1969, graduated from Korea University and received Master in Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Practiced at Hanul Architect (Seoul) and joined to Chan Krieger Associates (Cambridge, USA) and KSWA (Cambridge, USA) as a project architect. Currently teaching at SAKHU (Graduate School of Architecture, Kyunghee Univerity) as a faculty member and directing his own practice, _ SYSTEM LAB.

Hun KimOcular City

Hun Kim was born in Seoul, 1960. He graduated from Department of Architecture, Hanyang University, 1983 and received Master in Architecture from the Graduate School of Architecture, the University of Michigan, 1986. He teaches at Graduate School of Architecture, Kyunggi University since 1995 and has been being the principal of studio asylum since 1993.

Seung-Hoy KIMconstellation_time_city

Seung-Hoy Kim received his education at the Seoul National University and Unversity of Michigan. He founded the KYWC Architects in 1995. He has been a professor at the Seoul national University since 2003. Recent Projects by him include Ewoo School, Ehwa School, Youndong church, and World Jewelry Museum. He has been awarded many prizes including Seoul Architecture Award, KIA Award and Korean Architecture and Culture Award.

Haewon ShinCatalogue City

Haewon Shin was graduated from the Dept. of Architecture Engineering Yonsei University, Seoul and Architectural Association the School of Architecture, London. She worked for major architectural offices in London, Berlin and Hong Kong before setting up her own practice, Lokaldesign. She taught at Dept. of Architecture, the Chinese University of HongKong as an Assistant Professor and currently is a Visiting Professor at the Korean National University of Arts. Her recent award winning work, include Chi Chi Earthquake Memorial competition (2nd Prize) in Taiwan and Seaview Residance (Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards) in Hong Kong.
