ARKO Archive was established in 2009 through the integration of the archives of the Insa Art Space with the exhibition and research materials of the ARKO Art Center. Today, it is closely connected to the main activities of the museum and performs three functions: archiving, research, and creative utilization. ARKO Archive collects and researches exhibition materials and program publications from the ARKO Art Center, as well as artist portfolios. We will soon acquire the Insa Art Space exhibition and program archives and ensure the continuation of related research.

Furthermore, we are exploring new ways to utilize ARKO Media, a collection of research publications and Korean single-channel videos. We also plan to create a new section‘ARKO e-Reading zone’ in the second-floor lounge to showcase the outcomes of various art programs, making a wider range of materials accessible to the public.
